One more Christmas Present Down

Let's See . . I have 4 Christmas presents that I posted last time . . . one for each niece and nephew in town.

Yesterday I finished a present for the great niece in town . . . a "Mermaid's Tail."

It was SO SIMPLE but seemed to take F*O*R*E*V*E*R ! ! ! ! !

It was all simple half double crochets but they wet on and on and on. But, I suppose, it took me longer because I made it wider at the top than the pattern. But now I know it will last as a blanket for YEARS. I can use it and it goes from my toes to my hips . . so years of "flights of Mermaid fancy" for "E".


Now, I need to make one for the great niece in New York and I ordered the yarn for a "dragon/dinosaur" version for her brother. Hope his goes faster.
