For a big pudding I use two loves of bread, rip the bread up, pour about a pint and half to two pints of milk over it, then mush it all up with my hands (my hadns get a bit cold) to ensure that all the bread has soaked up all the milk, then I put it into a buttered dish and bake at about 160 for around an hour ish. I sometimes fancy it up and put dried fruit in and a bit of spice. I also use just hot cross buns to give it a nice flavour. It never last long in this house - 24 hours tops!CarpeDyemhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16248971594038892709noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2607177305040851592.post-82495214924408467122012-09-28T19:27:19.262-07:002012-09-28T19:27:19.262-07:00YOu will appreciate this - I used to tell the husb...YOu will appreciate this - I used to tell the husband"Let's go to Old Country Buffet so I can eat my weight in Bread Pudding."

This actually tastes as good, if not better than theirs.

You can always cut the resipe down . . like divide by 3 so you use 1 egg.

Also, you can use regular sugar and regular bread. We used to go to Old Country Buffet, and I would always get the bread pudding after dinner. My husband always had to comment on it. So one day I said "If it's so gross, why isn't there ever any up there then?" Ha. He didn't have anything to say to that.. ;) I want to try this recipe, but I would probably have to eat it all myself. (Hmmmm... Now there's a plan! Lol..) :PTinahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16887318294287047220noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2607177305040851592.post-4419993630374536322012-09-28T13:44:04.287-07:002012-09-28T13:44:04.287-07:00I will definitely try it soon.
