This is a remake of a pattern I wrote 4 years ago for my 1st great niece, Mady.
A customer bought the pattern and from the written instructions, her sweater came out too big. So, I rewrote it using measurement . . . so, with luck, if you use the chart on the pattern correctly, you should be able to make the sweater for any child from a newborn to a size 4T.
I made it using Red Heart Shimmer. In person, the sweater just glistens and shimmers. The photo doesn't do it justice.
If you like the pattern, it is available in my Ravelry Store for $4.99
100% of the purchase price for the pattern goes to Natalie's 2nd Chance Shelter, a no-kill dog shelter in my home state of Indiana. It is a 501(c) 3 non-profit organization.
I thought, t his afternoon, that I was finished with Christmas presents, then I found this unfinished sweater. well, it shall remain unfinished for a few more days, I need to buy more Red Heart Shimmer to make white sleeves.
In person, it really shimmers . . . reminds me of the festive dresses I always got as a young girl at Christmas.
Oh, and here is the Aviator Hat I made for Miss Elizabeth . . . I found the Rose Buttons at WalMart and fell in love with them.
