It's finished and ready, well, almost ready, to be shipped.
I still need to find a music box thing-y to add to it.
I am SO PLEASED that it turned out
just the way I wanted it.
I have a rough draft of a pattern/tutorial
on how to make everything,
from the wreath to the butterflies and
how to hang them.
(Which was a trick in itself.)
Here are some close ups.
Let me know what you think.
there was a real butterfly flying around.
Wish he had joined in with these.
This is a photo and written pattern. I feel it is very complete, that's why it is a long pattern.
If you are interested in this pattern,
it is available for $4.00 from my Ravelry shop.
Just click below.
And remember, 100% of the purchase price for the pattern goes to the Wyoming County SPCA, Wyoming County, NY,
a No Kill Animal Shelter.
a No Kill Animal Shelter.
Very cute! What a fun idea. =)
ReplyDeleteI LOVE IT! Very "springy" and happy. It made me smile :) You are very creative. Thanx for donating to such a great cause.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Mary . . . It was an idea I have had since I knew the nursery was goign to be done in butterflies. To see it come to life better than I imagined was unreal. It makes me smile every time I see it.
