Where Do Dead Penguins Go?

Did you ever wonder 
why there are no dead penguins

On the ice in  Antarctica ? 
- Where do they go ?
                                   
Wonder no more ! ! !

It is a known fact that the penguin is a very ritualistic bird which lives an extremely ordered and complex life.

 The penguin is very committed to its family. It mates for life, and maintains a form of compassionate contact with its offspring throughout its life.

If a penguin is found dead on the ice surface, other members of the family and social circle have been known to dig holes in  the ice, using their vestigial wings and beaks, until the hole is deep enough for the dead bird to be rolled into and buried. The male penguins then gather in a circle around the fresh grave and sing:

 "Freeze a jolly good fellow"

 
  "Freeze a jolly good fellow."

 "Then they kick him 
  in the ice hole."

 Thanks go out to Clara, from Clara's Crochet Room, for posting this . . . .with 4 cats and a dog . . and this has been the norm for over 25 years, this is what my house feels like at the holiday season.

It reminded me

I always would say,

"Just bury it and get it over with."

Guess that is what one would have to do with THIS copier.

If you watch George Stephanopolis on Sunday mornings, he always has the "Sunday Morning Funnies" section which show, usually, talk show hosts making fun of the government in some way.

Well, I decided to do a Sunday's Funnies entry every week. (Yeah right! Let's see how long THAT lasts! LOLO @ my procrastination.
