Kathy's Wedding Card

This is the poem that accompanied our wedding present from Kathy. The present was a snowman cookie hjar with chocolate chips . . . and I thinkthere were some cookies too . . but in 6 years, a "lot of Chocolate chip cookies have gone "over this dam!" LOLOL

Our Wedding invitations were based on the song "Winter Wonderland" with this on the 1st and 2nd page of our booklet card:

Page 1 . .with a snowman couple and heart:
In The meadow we will build a snowman
And pretend that he is Parson Brown . . .

page2 . . But Indiana seems to have a problem with being married by a snowman in a meadow so . . .

Page3 . . .actual invitation

Page 4 . . more wedding info.

So, Kathy, here is your poem , sung to the tune of "Winter Wonderland." It is framed and hangs with our other special wedding pictures:

Congratulations!

May You Live a Life of Bliss in Wonderland

.

.

May your lives be fulfilling,

They’re sure to be if you’re willing

To listen and say

To each other each day

“I love you.” and “I need you.” And “I care.”

.

.

As you love you will build upon your friendship

‘Cause being friends and lovers is the “bomb.”

Make the most of each day – that is my tip

And wherever you’re together you’re “at home.”

.

.

So, in the meadow when you build your snowman

You’ll need all the “fuel” that you can find.

Stoke yourself with that with which I’ve provided.

Refill it when it’s gone with any kind!

.

.

Now, here’s to you, Gene and Paula!

Hip, hip, hooray! Shout and holler.

We lit a candle for you

And we made a wish, too.

It was lovely; We all love you; and We’re glad!

It was lovely; We all love you; and We’re glad!

It was lovely; We all love you; and We’re glad!

Signed,
