Border #1

This is the latest blanket I have pieced.
The top right and left corners
and the bottom row
were made by me.
The remaining ten were given to me
by friends.

I have been a sucker for the colors in the squares I made
since I used them last fall
to make a sweater for Mady.

The colors are all  from the Baby Yarn Collection
of Vanna's Choice:
Angel White
Duckie ~ yellow
Goldfish ~ gold/orange
Sweet Pea ~ green

It has been a
L-O-N-G  time since I have posted a pattern.
I decided it was the right time
to remedy  this.

I like the border of this blanket so much
that I wrote the pattern down for future use.

I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.

This pattern can be done around any size border. If your stitch count causes you to be short or you need to add a stitch, it will work out fine. This is a VERY FLEXIBLE border. If you are worried, just make sure you start all joins in the bottom corners . . . alternating corners so your weaving in of ends doesn’t make one corner to thick.
