It has to be a day of some great Universe happening. Why else would I be so exhausted on a Tuesday?
I am, I admit, a creature of the night. If I can stay awake past 11:00 pm, I am awake for hours. Last night was a good example. I actually stayed awake for Craig Ferguson. And, for some unknown reason (wonder if CBS bumped him for some "censor thing-y"?) Whatever it was, our CBS channel was black with no explanation.
But, I digress (haven't used that word for a while.) Did anyone see the dog on Letterman last night dancing the "meringue" or is that how you spell the Lemon Pie topping? Anyway, it was dancing with it's owner on it's hind legs to that dance that is spelled similar, or maybe like, the pie topping.
Just found a video of the dog and owner dancing, but not on Letterman. You have to watch it, specially if you like dogs. It is just adorable. It does remind me of times "dancing" with Paka. We were NO WHERE as cool . .she would just put her paws on my chest , I would take them in my hands, and we would move around the room. She enjoyed it . . . then when she had enough, she'd drop down on her rump and that would be it until the next time she decided she wanted to do it.
The husband got such a kick out of it. He has never had a dog that did the "look at me jumping on my
hind legs" routine. (Paka could, but not a whole routine like this one.)
Okay, here is Carrie dancing. You might want your sound turned down a little . . . not sure how much you like Spanish/Hispanic Music. Enjoy!
So, what did you think?
Now, back to why I think the Universe is out of whack.
Finally got to bed and the last time I remember seeing the time, it was 3:00 am. Then, had a "potty" break around 8:00 and was totally awake . . until I fell asleep on the sofa around 9:30 and woke up during some infomercial at 1:00 pm-ish. It's now 5:29 pm and I still feel worn out. As I told Kat in a message, I think it will be a Tylenol PM sort of evening. If I take it early enough, I'll sleep like a baby, and the knees and back will feel better for it in the morning.
So, let me know what you think of my Dancing Dog
.
Signed,
Paka's Momma

I'm going to have to start using that Tylenol PM. I toss and turn all night long because of my back and each time I do I wake up. :o(
ReplyDeleteIf I didn't have to work my hours would probably be like yours. :o)
Beats Lessie cat hollow, all he does is sleep and eat and love me!
ReplyDeleteWhat a dog, her tail wagged through the whole routine. Incredible...
