So, I improvised and made a sweater and attached it to the body. Since, in this version, the head was a little "shaky," I added a scarf to protect it a little. Oh, and I crocheted the eyes into the pattern instead of embroidering them later.

Clown Doll
I have tried TWICE to make the DROPS Santa Bookmark . . I call it a clown bookmark, but, either way, I CAN NOT get the hang of attaching the stitches for the body to the head.
So, I improvised and made a sweater and attached it to the body. Since, in this version, the head was a little "shaky," I added a scarf to protect it a little. Oh, and I crocheted the eyes into the pattern instead of embroidering them later.
