Bridgette's Edging

Babies, Babies, Babies . . . three babies came our way this summer. To be perfectly honest, two are here and one more is in her last month

I always make to make a handmade gift for a baby.

This is my latest, made for Miss Bridgette, or will it be Bridget, who has yet to make her appearance. This time, instead of a button hole stitch, I made the foundation round with a steel crochet hook . . . SO MUCH EASIER than doing the button hole stitch. With this, I don't have to cut the thread. I just use it right off the skein and continued crocheting when the foundation was finished. What do you think?
The pattern can be finished at the end of the bottom edging round or continue to the last round, as shown on the top.
If you are interested in this pattern,
it is available for $3.99 from my Ravelry shop.

And remember, 100% of the purchase price for the pattern goes to the Wyoming County SPCA, Wyoming County, NY,

  1. This is very beautiful. I love the delicate work and a hand made gift is so much more precious than any store bought one for sure!!

  2. Trying to catch up again! This is so pretty Paula! And I love your change on The Chelle pattern. It's a simple bottom. Thank you for the wood email. That was truly awesome talent there. I wish I could be so lucky!
