4:30 a.m. First Snow of the Season

We finally got some snow.

I think this snowfall is more than our total amount last year.

I had to get up around 4:30 a.m.
I have been fighting
one of the following since last Saturday:
1. head cold
2. flu
3. sinus infection

When I got the first coughing fit of the day,
I decided it was time to get up.

Indy wanted out
so I grabbed the camera and captured what I saw.

The couple that do our yard in the summer
are plowing snow now.
Wonder what time they started?

Nice driveway.
The driveway is a wind tunnel when it snows.
Looking north.
Looking south.
Across the street.

Right now,
it looks like either Ivory Snow flakes
or down feathers
falling on top of the snow pack.

    1. I know, Cadi . . . snow days aren't as much fun when I don't work . . .LOLOL When I was working, there was nothing better that hearing the men on the radio announce a 2 hour delay or a snow day . . it seemed like it always occurred when I needed the extra rest.

For quite a few years, we got a snow day or a delay, because of ice or snow, on my birthday in January. I told everyone it was my birthday present for them :)

    1. Sarah,

The snow we get is so like the snow in Indiana . . I was born and raised about 1/2 hour north of Lafayette. If we lived south of Buffalo, we would be in the Lake Effect snow region and get dumped on :)
