Veterans Day Plants

I am sure you  have heard of a succulent called
Christmas Cactus.

But, have you ever heard of a
Veterans Day Cactus.

Here is one . . .
It has never bloomed any time but early November.

It hangs out on our front porch all summer
then comes in for the winter.
The blooms start to set before I bring it in the house.

When I bought it I didn't know it had
two different plants in it.
I was surprised when it bloomed
salmon and white.

I have ALWAYS loved
Jade Plants.
I have had several
but have never kept one long enough
for it to  become large.

Hopefully this one,
one day,
will be big and beautiful.

"She" sat on our front porch table all summer.

"She" seemed to love it.

And last,
but by no means least,
my Ivy and it's friends.
I got a small start from a friend,
it rooted and has really grown.

There are two other plants in the middle.
I don't remember the name of the plants
but you can see that one is variegated
and one has a red trim on the leaves.
