Winter Wonderland II . .Part Deux . . Squares #2

Below you will see the first two squares that I have received in my first swap in Ravelry's Vanna's Choice Fan Club.

Also, I needed to make one more square so I could get send everyone in the group their first square. I owe two people 2 squares because there are not 12 people in the group.) So you will also see a square made up of what I had left before I go on my next Vanna shopping trip.

The firs twas from Squiggles12345 and the second one is from yelorose.

Granny's Eye
Yarn ~ Vanna’s Choice
Denim Mist, Colonial Blue and Navy

Crochet Hook ~ J
Tapestry Needle
Comment: When I finished this square, it reminded me of a woman with light blue eyes who was wearing navy eye shadow. Thus the name Granny’s Eye.
NOTE: If you need to adapt the number of stitches you skip on Rounds 5, 9 and 10, don’t worry. I always seem to make some kind of mistake when I am doing sc’s, and this has always worked out fine. It is a VERY forgiving pattern.
Start with a Magic Circle (Magic Ring),
Round 1: Ch 3, 2 dc into ring, ch 2, (3 dc in ring, Ch 2, ) twice, sl st to top of ch 3, sl st to corner. (12 dc, 4 ch 2 sp)
Round 2: Ch 1, 2 sc in sp, sc in next 3 dc, (2 sc, ch 2, 2 sc) in corner, [sc in each dc, (2 sc, ch 2, 2 sc)repeat once, sc in each dc, 2 sc in corner, sl st to beginning sc, , sl st to corner. (28 sc, 4 ch 2 sp.)
Round 3: Ch 3, dc in same sp, *dc in each sc across to corner, (2 dc, ch 2, 2 dc)* repeat twice, dc in each st to corner, 2 dc in corner, ch 2, sl st to beginning ch 3, , sl st to corner. (36 dc, 4 ch 2 sp)
Round 4: Repeat Round 2. (56 sc, 4 ch 2 sp)
Round 5: Ch 5, 2 dc in same sp, *(ch 1, sk 2 st, 3 dc un next st,)repeat 3 times, (3 dc, ch 2, 3 dc) in corner,* repeat from * to * twice,( ch 1, sk 2 st, 3 dc in next st,) repeat 3 times, 2 dc in corner, sl st to 3rd ch of ch 5, sl st to corner. (20 dc sets, 16 sc sp, 4 dc sp)
Round 6: Repeat Round 2. (90 sc, 4 ch 2 sp)
Rounds 7 – 8: Repeat Round 2.
Rounds 9-10:Repeat Round 5.
Round 11: Repeat Round 2
