Wisdom 4 You Yarn Give-Away

I saw a blog yesterday
that was having a yarn give-away.

So,
I say to myself,
"Self.
since you have to clean out your
yarn stash room
so the guys can get to the windows
and put in the new ones,
why don't you give some away?"

Today,
as I was
picking,
hunting
and
sorting
out yarn
spread over
the top of
a double bed
I found
some some
BEAUTIFUL surprises
that I know I will never get around to using.
(eBay has been
BERY,
BERY
good to me."
to paraphrase
a quote
made by a baseball player.)

So,
here it is . . . .
the yarn for my
1st
"Four Score and Seven Years,
Annual,
Bi-monthly,
Monthly,
Every 2 Weeks,
Weekly,
Yarn Give-Away!
{Control yourselves.
I know
you want to dance
in the streets
BUT
it's just YARN,
although a pretty yarn .}

BWA-HA-HA-HA-HA-HA-HA

Now. seriously,
fellow yarnies,
here it is
in all it's
photographic
(to some yarnies
I am sure
it is more like
pornographic . . .
I know how excited we get at the site of yarn)
glory.

you may ask . . .

Yes, there is.

where my family is concerned,
a positive catch.

celebrating her sister,
my oldest niece,

cancer survivor.
(Discovered when she was 10-11 months old.)

  1. Good luck to the family! Some of my family did not survive, although I have a hubby and 2 SILs who have. Hooray for the miracles of our medical care and the drug companies. Without the drugs my husband takes he would have passed on four years ago. Each day is a blessing!

Please don't put me in the list to receive yarn. I just wanted to say you came up with a great way to shrink your stash. I'm sending boxes of my overflowing stash yarn to a homeless group who are knitting in Phila. Isn't nice we can spread happiness around..
