32 Done . . . 3 To Go . . Campfire Swap is ALMOST Done . . . Square #18

Again, It's time to post more of the squares I made for the Campfire Swap at Vanna's Choice Fan Cub on Ravelry. All of the squares were made with these colors from the Vanna's Choice collection from Lion Brand: cranberry (dark red), terracotta (orange) and Mustard (dark yellow.)

This square is from 200 Crochet Blocks for Blankets, Throws and Afghans. It is #94 .. . Gothic Square. I think it is just SCRUMPTIOUS!
Another one of the "figments" of my imagination. 3-D Daffodil?

And yes, the ? is part of the name. Why? Well, it doesn't look exactly like the Daffodil I had pictured . . but I still like the 3-D effect, shown better, in the lower picture.

Now for some more of my own designs.

I call these three Pinwheel and Diamonds. I had a lot of fun, lone day, in the car coming up with these three. Still not 100% pleased with the center of the pinwheel . . but since all pinwheels have to have something in the middle to hold the "petals" on . . this is the best I could do at the time. I didn't think a thumb tack would work like they do on real pinwheels.

This is Autumn Leaves from the book 50 Fabulous Crochet Squares.

This is Moody Blues. Also from 50 Fabulous Crochet Squares.

  2. I can't comment on your other blog...

Oh my! Now I get what it's all about. Took me awhile to catch on. I'm in. - After the move. So the cloth needs to be 10 by 10 inches plus some for the border? And you stitch whatever???

  3. her 1st stitch-a-long was 39 squares. . 1 for each year of her life . . now she is hooting for 100 . . you can make as many as you want . . . I just marked my piece of cloth out for as many as would fit . . . might fill them all in, might not . . I kind of figured it might look neat to have the boxes kind of fade out on one edge

  4. Hi Paula! Looks like Cadi got to tell ya first! I have been trying to comment on your Blessings blog, and it won't let me verify the code word before publishing.. You can't even barely see the word, and if you do, there is no box to type it in. Just wanted to let you know... and then say, I love what you have going so far!! Hope you can get that fixed! ~tina

  5. How lovely! I love them all, they turned out great. My favorite is the 3D Daffodil?. My sister was asking me when she was here if I had made any of these yet, that my grandma used to love making them.
