Memories of Days Gone By

I was cleaning out a cedar chest today, I know . . get ready for the skies to all in, and I found pictures hat I carried in my wallet for a LONG time. The wallet has been in the cedar chest even longer, and, since I am in a cleaning mood, I figured I'd clean the wallet out,  pitch it, but make copies of the photos for posterity.

These, however, are going to stay with me . . the others were Senior Pictures and they will end up on my classes Facebook page, time allowing.

So, here is a look back on my life . . . .

Mom, somewhere at the beginning of her tenure
as school secretary at Riley/Franklin School.

Mom, before she retired .
Dad, circa 1944

Joy . . she arrived into our family when I was 4.
Of ALL the dogs I have ever known,
she was the best behaved AND had the softest ears.

  1. How cool! You were in kindegarten when I was born. :o)I don't have very many of me when I was young.

Hey...I think you should do the clown thing. It's funny you say that because I have a clown hat pattern somewhere and I was thinking the same thing! I almost have Gail's done, I'm missing one arm. So I hope to get that done tonight so I can post a done pic of it. He's turned out great and I love the colors!
