Another Headband

Needed to make a headband for Miss Ellie that she could wear to her daddy's football games. He coaches the middle school team and their colors are red and black.

I thought I had bought black when I made her a dress and it was green . . so I bout black so I wouldn't mess that  up again.

Her momma likes the headbands with the bog flowers . . so big flower she got!  LOLOL

Not a great picture, but you get the idea.
Had a hard time keeping it upright with that flower.

Simple pattern . . sc's, sk 1's, ch 1's and dc's

This is what the flower looks like when I was making it.
Looks like a kitchen scrubbie  or a brain coral,
doesn't it?

Spread the flower out when I added the button to attach it.
Then I did a basting st between the 2nd and 3rd rounds
in hopes I could open it up . . this is the final result.
