Indy's Christmas Collar

Here's my baby girl . . .
all dressed up for her 7th Christmas with us.

I have always had Christmas bows . . .
 BIG Christmas bows . . .
that I would attach to my dogs collars at Christmas.
This year,
I think I will change my "modus operandi"
and have her wear something homemade by her momma.

I used ribbon for her collar.
It can also be made with elastic,
I just [referred the loser look.

If you have followed my blog long enough,
you will know that I LOVE working with crochet thread.
TO me,
the colors are more intense/vibrant/ richer
than most yarns I see.

I think this could be made from yarn,
with little,
or no,
adaptations.

If you make it with yarn,
remember to let me know so I can see your pictures.

I LOVE the fact that this collar can be made for the tiniest kitten to the largest dog. As a matter of fact, It could be made for a horse, sheep, goat … any animal that needs a Christmas Collar.
You say you don’t Celebrate Christmas? Just change the colors and use it as a Hannukah collar, Kwanza Collar, Halloween Collar . . it can be a collar for ANY OCCASION! (Wouldn’t Red. White and Blue be ADORABLE for the 4th of July?)
Use your imagination and have fun like I did :)
