Happy 4th of July - 2015

Indy has her 4th of July finery on
and I think Marcus likes it.

Marcus LOVES being next to her sister, Indy.
It's hard to get a picture of them
because Marcus doesn't sit
right next to me that often.

Indy got her 6 weeks grooming yesterday.
Mindy always has a scarf,
appropriate for the time of the year,
that she puts on her clients.
I don't know if you can tell but this one
has red, white and dark blue
fireworks on it.

Indy did have a bow above her left ear
but it must have gotten loose in bed last night.

The husband has been busy in the kitchen.
we are trying to  use everything we have in the
freezer and the pantry.
Today's items were
spiral pasta,
tuna,
frozen peas and
Devils Food cake.

He made a tuna and pasta salad
with the frozen peas.
After he mixed these ingredients with
mayonnaise
(we have been using the olive oil mayo and it is SO GOOD)
he added some diced onions and celery.
When he brought it in for a taste test
I was in heaven.
I always forget how good it tastes.
I think this and crackers will be lunch today.

While he was making this
I saw he had cupcake pans out
with the liners in them.
So I make the Devils Food cake
and placed it in the cupcake liners.

Now we have lunch and desert.
I think supper will be hot dogs and chips.

Then, ater tonight, chocolate cupcakes,
with chocolate or lemon icing
(since that is what we have available)
with some ice cream.

HAPPY 4TH OF JULY

Remember to keep your pets inside
so the loud noises don't bother them.

  1. Thanks for the tip on olive oil Mayo, we saw it today in the supermarket and passed, but next time I will get some. Enjoy your day.
