Campfire Squares

These are the squares I have completed for the CAMPFIRE SQUARE Swap in the Vanna's Choice Fan Club group on Ravelry. All of the squares have been done in Cranberry, Terracotta and Mustard. I love the color combination . . and I wanted to make squares that actually looked like the fires in a campfire.

Campfire #1

Campfire #3

Campfire #4

Campfire #5

Campfire #7

Campfire #8 . . .Snowflake

Do you think I should win the creativity prize in naming? No I didn't think so either.
100% of the purchase price for the pattern goes to the Wyoming County SPCA, Wyoming County, NY.

Now I will have to think some . . just where did I find the next squares . . . I know one is by Priscilla Hewitt and some came from Jan Eaton's book 200Crochet Blocks, now it is just taking the time to figure out which is which. I will link the names of each square to where you can find them.

1st we have COFFEE & CREAM
Square #165 from Jan Eaton's
200 Crochet Blocks for blankets, throws and afghans

Here is Priscilla Hewitt's Square
You will find it along with several other of her squares on this page

Another from Jan Eaton's
200 Crochet Blocks book
this is #209, Marigold
(and I thought there were just 200?)

Let's see
this one is called
It is from the same book, #173

I think this is just precious.
It is square 198 named

One more from Jan Eaton's book.
This is Daisy Chain, #161

I forgot about this.

I am always amazed how these squares look so different done in different colors. So often I just make a square because it looks like it will take the amount of yarn I have . . and then it turns out great . . go figure?

Signed,
Too Many Campfire Squares, Too Little Time

  1. Love your squares, Paula! I think the cranberry, terra cotta, and mustard look fantastic together.
