I ought tickets in Row P of the balcony, but when we picked them up they were Row U.
Oh well, I said, at least we have tickets.
After the 1st act, we moved to Row V . . . the very last row in the balcony BUT, here I would sing and bob my head to the music and not bother anyone around me . . . thus . .Oh What A Night! Nothing like singing in a theatre like I was singing onstage! LOLOL
This was the cast at that performed at Shea's . . .
(and I sat there laughing at myself most of the time
at least,
when I wasn't singing)
I kept thinking the one on the left
looked like the WWE wrestler Chris Jericho.
You are, I'm sure, thinking I'm nuts.
But, remember,
I was looking from the last row,
or next to the last row during the 1st act,
and that makes faces a little hard to see.
So, sing along with me . . one of my favorites . . about the year I was in 6th grade.
Oh, what a night.
Late December back in '63.
What a very special time for me,
'Cause I remember what a night.
Oh, what a night.
You know, I didn't even know her name,
But I was never gonna be the same.
What a lady. What a night.
Oh, I. I got a funny feeling when she walked
In the room and I,
As I recall it ended much too soon.
Oh, what a night,
Hypnotizing, mesmerizing me.
She was everything I dreamed she'd be.
Sweet surrender, what a night!
I felt a rush like a rolling bolt of thunder
Spinnin' my head around and taking my body under.
Oh, what a night!
Oh, I. I got a funny feeling when she walked
In the room and I,
As I recall it ended much too soon.
Oh, what a night.
Why'd it take so long to see the light?
Seemed so wrong, but now it seems so right.
What a lady, what a night!
I felt a rush like a rolling bolt of thunder
Spinnin' my head around and taking my body under.
Oh, what a night!
(Do, do, do, do, do. Do, do, do, do, do, do.)
Oh, what a night!
(Do, do, do, do, do. Do, do, do, do, do, do.)
Oh, what a night!
(Do, do, do, do, do. Do, do, do, do, do, do.)
Oh, what a night!
(Do, do, do, do, do. Do, do, do, do, do, do.)
Oh, what a night!
(Do, do, do, do, do. Do, do, do, do, do, do.)
Oh, what a night!
(Do, do, do, do, do. Do, do, do, do, do, do.) .
