and it seems like

everybody

and their mother

reminds me

of the years

when everyone 

my age

was dating

and there was Paula . . . 

every one's friend

but no body's date.

shall pass

unheralded by anyone

but me.

So,

l shall

lift my glass of lemonade,

say a toast to myself

and continue with my life
