Yeppers . . . I shall try to post all of the patterns I have found . . . and those I had kept.
Today, I had a flash from the past. I received a LARGE envelope with these enclosed:
- Lot of 4 Cross Country Stitching Magazines
- A 1975 VINTAGE McCall's Treasury of Samplers . . which originally cost $1.35 AND has the pattern to my 1st Cross Stitch Sampler in it
- A VINTAGE 1975 Gloria & Pat Count Your Stitches which I had 30 years ago and used it until it was in shreds.
- Another VINTAGE 1980 Harriette Tew Through The House Cross Stitch which has a pattern I ALWAYS wanted to make and never did.
Everything cost me $4.06 + 7.46 for postage . . . I am ECSTATIC!
I also bought a CD: PC Stitch Patterns-Distinctive Alphabet . . originally $9.99 and I got it for $2.99 + $1.99 postage.
I'm pretty happy . . and the hubby thinks they are pretty neat too . . but, remember, he is a yarn enabler so he may turn into a cross stitch enabler too.

Signed,
I MUST CREATE a Halloween Pattern in Cross Stitch
PS . . The crochet will still be going along . . just not as high an output.
EDIT: Thanks Pammy Sue for catching my $406 . . it was $4.06 . . .WISH I had that kind of money to spend on patterns . . LOLOL

I hope you meant 40.06 or 4.06! Nice haul.
ReplyDeleteI wish I had the patience. I have a box somewhere that I started this awesome huge cross stitch many years ago...like back in 1986ish. I screwed up and found the screw up a long time after I screwed up and got disgusted and put it in that box and never touched it again! Which reminds me that I need to find that and pull it out and get rid of it. (Note to self.......)lol
ReplyDeleteI got the trunk pic to come up. Oh, what a way to use it. The fondling of patterns. Teehee - could become an addiction!
