My Sock Monkeys have Attitudes.

Yes, you heard me . .
these 5 all have attitudes.
Just look at them . . .
so sweet and innocent looking.

Right?
Well, wait until you get a closeup of them.

1st we have King Kong Monkey . . .
I don't know how he got so big,
but he just kept growing and growing.
And, to top it all off,
he doesn't think he is a Sock Monkey.
He thinks he is the re-incarnation
of Shari Lewis'
Lamb Chop!
Do you see a similarity?
Charley Horse,
maybe,
but not Lamb Chop!
Me neither.

Give one a French Beret
and they think they are
Maurice Chevalier.
He even demanded the name!
Pierre is on the left and Maurice on the right.

Then, when Andre came along,
and decided to bring his girlfriend along.
Andre is on the left with his girlfriend,
Isibella, on the right.
(Even her name is spelled foreign!)
I can just hear them now.
Pretty soon Andre and Maurice
will be singing along with Maurice Chevalier!

I have heard this song
wafting around my house
the last two days . . .
I need to get them to their new homes ASAP!

Signed,
Mother of Warped Sock Monkeys

    Five Little Monkeys
    Written by: Unknown, Copyright Unknown

Five little monkeys jumping on the bed
One fell off and bumped his head
So Momma called the doctor and the doctor said
No more monkeys jumping on the bed!

Four little monkeys jumping on the bed
One fell off and bumped his head
So Momma called the doctor and the doctor said
No more monkeys jumping on the bed!

Three little monkeys jumping on the bed
One fell off and bumped his head
So Momma called the doctor and the doctor said
No more monkeys jumping on the bed!

Two little monkeys jumping on the bed
One fell off and bumped his head
So Momma called the doctor and the doctor said
No more monkeys jumping on the bed!

One little monkey jumping on the bed
He fell off and bumped his head
So Momma called the doctor and the doctor said
No more monkeys jumping on the bed!

No little monkeys jumping on the bed
None fell off and bumped his head
So Momma called the doctor and the doctor said
Put those monkeys back in bed!

  4. Ya Ya . . 5 Little Monkeys was my oldest nieces' favorite rhyme. I can still see her swinging on the porch swing with me and laughing as she said it.
