Sew In . . . 02/18/2011

Thanks to Miss Poppy at Poppy Patchwork, I found a  Friday Night Sew In . . well, mine will be a Stitch In.I'm #86 on the list of participants. Do you want too join in? It will be held Friday, February 18, 2011.

So you have 1 week to make your plans . . . make sure your comfy pajamas are clean, have your favorite drink of choice available, line up the music you want to hear or the TV programs/ movies you will enjoy listening too, get rid of all outside distractions . . .as in any significant others (children and husbands/boyfriends/girlfriends/wives) who may live in your home who will ruin your totally relaxed Friday evening of stitching.

Hum . . . best make sure there is some Jim Beam left for my "non-official" Lynchburg Lemonade. Wonder what is on TV on Friday nights that I like . . will need to check it out tonight. Maybe something on the History Channel or History International. It seems like one of them ALWAYS has something on I like watching . . even repeats always show me something I missed the 1st, 2nd or 3rd time I watched it.

Let me know if you will be joining in.

  1. Friday night sew-in huh? Wow. I always try to stay up late on Friday nights but after going to bed at 7 all week it's hard to do. Plus Leo is on my butt to go to bed. Sometimes I actually make it to 9:30. lol I am so looking forward to someday retiring and being able to stay up late and sleep in later. (Sounds like a kid huh? lol) xoxo

  2. Kat . . . I swear,Indy is so like Leo. About 9:00 she starts looking longingly at the stairs. We used to say, "Indy, go onup to bed." She would just runup the stairs and patiently wait on us. When we didn't go up, she ran downstairs and would keep looking up the stairs like, "Well, would you come on?" Now, she is on to this trick and waits until she knows we are really ready.

Isn't it strange how pets learn our routines? My Paka and Tavish learned SO QUICK that jeans on in the morning meant I was home for the day and that putting shoes on meant I was leaving.

Indy knows the shoe deal . . .I ONLY wear them when leaving in the car . . . and she wants to go too. She thinks the car is her carriage to take her around town . . .LOL I think she likes it so much because she sat on nmy lap from the time we got her until we got to New York. She only moved when we stopped and she had to leave the car. Just to think, she was a lap dog at 10 weeks old . . . but barely. She outgrew that TOO FAST!
