Shortcakes for Strawberries

No, I am NOT a Domestic Goddess . . far be it from me to even associate myself with domestic. However, I do make a mean shortcake!

Fresh out of the oven . . almost.
The picture isn't clear due to the steam created
when the oven heat hit the air conditioned kitchen . . bummer . . NOT!

Recipe
2 1/3 C Biscuit Mix
1/2 C Milk
3 T Sugar
3T Butter . . .melted

Heat oven to 425 degrees F
In a medium bowl, combine all ingredients and mix by hand.
DO NOT combine until perfectly smooth . . . you want the "rough look" when the shortcakes are done.
Roughly divide mixture into 6 pieces.
Roll "ruffest" looking part in sugar.
Place on UNGREASED baking sheet and bake for 10 - 12 minutes . . until golden brown on the top.

Enjoy warm out of the oven or let cool for later use.

And, yes . . they are just as god as they look!
