Another Finish

I have some VERY THICK cotton yarn that I bought from Peaches and Cream when they were selling their cones very cheap. It is DOUBLE WORSTED weight . . . .so thick my wrists almost get sore when I crochet with it.

Since it is so much thicker than the normal Peaches and Cream . . the packaging says "chunky" and, man, are they ever correct on THAT name . . . I decided I needed to make something out of them and then place them for sale at my Etsy shop.

This is the result . . . a potholder and 4 coasters. The yarn is called Pink Lemonade and it is the color of pink lemonade, regular lemonade and limeade . . totally summer looking.

  3. I've used that before. I wasn't too keen on the color but once it's crocheted together it's not bad. :o) I see you are now getting nice weather, that the rain is gone. Good for you! I'm ready for cooler weather, cool nights, warm days.
