Cake Flower Headband

Wish I had brown buttons, but couldn't find any the right size.
I'm happy how well the black looks.

This is the BEST idea I have seen for a headband.
Use a rubber band for an anchor.
 I used the tiny ones since this is for a baby.
Since they are so thin and light, I doubled them,
then attached one set to a second set.
This will stretch out to 2".
And, if one breaks, the other one in the pair should hold.

  1. Very pretty, never thought pink white and brown would look this good together :)

  2. That's an odd name...Cake Flower? Very pretty though! But I was wondering, wouldn't you think the rubber bands would twirl the hair if the headband moves and get caught up so that it'll hurt the baby?

    1. Good question on the runner bands. I don't think they will twirl the hair . . . but I will have to ask the Momma's to tell me so I know.

      The name comea about from this: the name of the thread is Cake . . and I put flowers on it. Thus Cake FLower :0}
